The project In real time concerns the everyday reconstruction of a site-specific installation that coexists with a choreographed play. From the very first moment, the installation’s composing process interacts with the dancer’s experimentations in a unified artistic gesture. Invited artists are also involved. The continuous process of fragmentation, reconstruction and coordination of personal with collective behaviour happens every day, creating a ritualistic ensemble. The installation embraces various activities. The goal of In real time is to involve everybody participating in the creative process, illustrating a symbiotic relationship between private and public.

Eleni Kotsoni coordinated the project Border crossing bars that was financed and produced by the Piraeus Bank Foundation, within the European Academy’s Awards ceremony. The project was inspired by the concept of "cultural landscape".Its  goal was to enable a platform with traditional crafts, site-specific structures, video projections and short performances. An open-air site-specific sculpture, that coexists with a human-sized bird’s nest, has been constructed by the artist in the external space of the museum upper area.Materials are connected and transformed into an artificial white-painted 'rhizome' that runs all over the structure of the giant bird's nest. The installation’s everyday construction is used as a motive for communication and interacts with visitors and participants who are welcome to be involved and share their creativity.

Ex-machina, Tsalapata Museum, Volos, 2009

Eleni Kotsoni coordinated the project "Ex-machina" that was financed and produced by the Piraeus Bank Foundation and took place in the Museum Tsalapata at Volos from November 2009 to June 2010. Artists and participants have been invited to create in situ installations in relation to the space inspired by its factory identity and original function. Concepts such as mechanical movement, chain production and transition from one state to another, are the central axis on which artworks moved. In the same context the Department of Architects of the University of Thessaly developed a parallel artistic proposal. The exhibition "Ex-machina"curated by Katerina Tselou took place at the end of the project.
